I'm looking to get a new 09 E350. I'm wondering if the owners who have the latest build of W211 have any issues or problems I should be aware of. I know on my early build of the C class, they had issues left and right, my 06 W203 has no problem. Your response is appreciated.

 

My '07 has been flawless. It is the best car I have ever owned!

 

Have had no maintenance or performance issues at all with my '08 E350 4Matic. 17K miles so far.

 

You don't have to worry too much anymore. Things are back to normal (not totally tank-like as in pre-1999, but still a LOT better.)

 

Our 07 has been the best car either of us have owned. Admittedly, not as tank-like as my 82, but an amazing car. Trying to win the lotto so I can buy my wife an SL and then I can have her E350. I guess if I won the lotto, ... Anyway, buy it. Even with the new bodystyle coming out I'd wait at least a model year. I'm sure the new styles will grow on me but I love the round lights. Think the SL looked better before the recent update. My $0.02

 

I have my E350 for almost 2 years and no problems so far....

 

Have both an '07 and '08. Both cars are flawless.

 

I have a new 2009 (last July delivery) E320 BlueTech and it's been flawless. Not one trip back to the dealer. I know you inquired about the E350, but I had to share my experience.

Took delivery of my new 09 E350 4Matic Avant Garde on March 31. Actually this is my new company car to replace a BMW 530Xi, and we took 3 of such cars, all identical. I haven't driven mine much yet but the other 2 have been driven daily by my business partners. So far all 3 cars have been doing well except the battery went down in one of them this morning and needed a jump start. It will go back to the dealer on Monday to find out what's wrong.

 

Anything '06 and after will be good in M-B perspectives. '09 should be as good as it gets for the W211.

 

Let's see...power steering fluid leak, engine oil leak, front subframe replaced, idler pulley replaced. All this under 12k miles . Well at least the car rides really good when everything is working

No, I still have the C. The E is for the Mrs and weekend car.
The E has more power than my tiny C engine. I only drove it twice, I have been busy with work.

Yup, pretty much, It was way below the MSRP. We went to the dealer not planning to buy yet, was going to check it out then stop by at the BMW to see the 5 series. It seemed that the sales guy was so eager to sell and kept calling us back when we walked away.

I wanted Flint on Black. I look all over the place (I also wanted P2, full leather, pano, parktronic and trunk close, etc.) and couldn't find one in the entire USA!

I ended up with Sienna on Sahara. Hard to keep clean outside and the Sahara picks up blue jean dye, so I have to wipe the leather down every week

p.s., I got 7k off back in October. Curious as to what you can get off now. What was it?
