Window Moleskin

For anyone who has the 09 model, do you guys need the moleskin/felt before tinting the window. It seems that it has the soft felt material already and the tint shop was telling me the same thing. I just want to verify. Thanks.

not sure how 09 is different, but mine has no scratches on the tint w/o the moleskin...
W203 requires moleskin...

Yup, I had it installed on my W203.

you don't really need to, but to extend your tint's life, it is recommended ( 400 dollar job, i know)

and it requires the door panel to be taken off too, that something i wouldn't want to give to a newbie tech

Well, if it's needed, I don't mind spending the money like for the W203.
I checked the car, it seems that it has some kind of felt already, it's not as bad as the w203.
