New MB Owner..Aux Input help
I'm what you may call a newbie in the MB world. Just purchaesd my first MB 2007 E350. I think the car is just awsome. However, got a couple of questions....
#1 - Where is the aux input? On the command center is one of the option but I cannot find the input anywhere. If it helps the command center does have the NAV system (DVD).
#2 - It did not come with the phone cradle. Can I connect my phone via bluetooth and get the same functionality?
Thanks to all.
To the OP, the aux input is in the glove compartment, you won't miss it now that you know what to look for. Also you'd need the bluetooth module to get you phone to work with your car.
If you want the phone/bluetooth cradle and interface, and the IPOD interface, be prepared to spend some bucks.

Regarding the phone....My car did not come with a cradle.....I assumed that Bluetooth was pretty much an standrd feature nowdays...especially on high end cars. Should I contact the dealership where I bought the car from.
If I need the bluetooth module...do you guys now how much does that run for?
Thanks

I bought mine off fleabay. There are usually plenty for you to choose from.

Basically, this widget slots in the center console, you pair the phone and presto you have bluetooth hands-free in your car. You can control via steering wheel and COMAND.
IMHO the specialized charging cradle is not worth it. You'd need a specific phone to work with it. True you get access to the car's antenna to boost signal but the cost and phone selection is limited. Best to stick with the MHI bluetooth module puck as discussed.
