Trunk Cargo net 3 different versions

I found 3 different versions of cargo nets.
I'd like to know if anyone have one of these and how they are.
They all look like OEM.

I'm not sure if this require installation of hooks.

For pre-facelift versions Mercedes offers two versions (depends on whether you have folding rear seats)

The net changed for facelift models (2007 on) and I'm not sure how many versions there are.

When I got ours in 2006 there was an apparent glitch in MBUSA's parts system, and the version compatible with folding rear seats was not available in USA. I obtained ours at the customer center in Sindlefingen, having learned the part number at the UK Mercedes website.

You should get one from your dealer and if any hooks are required they'll be part of the package. Your E550 deserves better than eBay parts.

My '04 was ordered with the one pictured in link # 2 (Yahoo). It fit the 4 mounts on the floor. I do NOT have the net that goes crosswise across the rear, between the 2 tail lights. I took the net with me when I sold my '04 & got my '07. Fits perfectly. (No fold down seats on either car.) I also have the small net in the right rear fender.

Its convenient... keeps pizza boxes & small items from sliding around in the trunk. I wouldn't mind having the across the car net, but neither car came with the hooks on the upper rear to mount this net.

Then it's probably:

#1 New design
#2 Old design but still fits MY07 +.
#3 Non OEM

For both #1 and #2 there seems to be 2 separate parts; one for the floor and one for the rear, even though they might be come as a package.
I do have the hook on the floor. For the rear net, there are 2 tabs that look like they can be popped out and hooks can be installed.
BTW, I already do have the small one on the right side. I believe this one comes with the car.

I'll check with the dealer. Thanks.

The only difference I see is that one covers the entire load floor and the other only covers the part closest to the opening. Personally, it wouldn't matter which one I had.

When I purchased my 2003 E500 with the folding rear seats MB did not offer a Trunk Cargo Net for the E500. I could not find a net at any auto store or on the net. I finally found a net at Volvo Dealer that looks like the one you found on the Yahoo site. The net work okay for small packages and items. If the package had a height of 12 inches or more small items would slide around the trunk.

There was one dealer is Southern California that made custom fitted nets that came with four clips that fits the four rings on the floor of the trunk. There was a problem with the measurement that I submitted and there was too much slack in the net.

I have been looking for a net for my E550 2009. I think the dealer stocks about three different types. I have not had a chance to check them out.
