Remote Open & Closing of Windows Not Working
So, I just got the car back from the dealer on Wednesday and after trying to close the windows with the remote it's not working. I tried the other remote too and it doesn't work. Batteries both look OK from LED, but will check those on Monday at work. I read somewhere from searching about a resync feature with the windows and sunroof. Anyone know how it's done? Is it in the manual? Thanks everyone. I want to try these out before having to call the dealer on Monday to check it since my entire warranty ran out on Wednesday.

Never mind guys. I resynced the windows and sunroof and after driving it for half an hour, the summer feature worked again.

Aim the smartkey at the little red window on the drivers outside door handle from about 3 feet. First the doors will unlock by Radio Waves, then the IR portion of the key will lower/raise the windows as long as you hold the unlock/lock button & no one opens a door. The IR has a much shorter range than the radio waves so you have to be close to the car & point the key at the IR receiver window on the handle.

I guess someone might have replaced the door handle with one that does not have the IR sensor. They exist for RHD cars anyway. I don't see why the guy should blame MB though, unless it was an MB workshop "fixing" the car.
