Nav with Comand Replacement?
Thanks

There is a completely new and different Comand unit existing but they would not put that one to your car. The only difference I could think of would be the option to display ETA, unless your old device was already updated to indicate that.
I wonder if the head unit actually was dead and needed replacement but it is difficult prove anything at this point. Sounds like a good reset (not necessarily the head unit alone) would have been sufficient.

No, I rarely drive this car and am embarassed to admit I never asked where the disc was located! I probably should spend a half hour reading her car manual. My drive in my old 2001 is in the unit in a single slot.
They tried several resets, etc. The only way it worked was when they took a different unit from another car and popped it in- then it worked. So they bit the bullet and reordered.
