ESP Malfunction on 2004 E55 AMG
After Accelerating the code showed up. The Engine is working as if it was an E500. Turned off car and code cleared but again after accelerating it showed up once again. Car only has 64k miles. Kompressor is not responding... Have anyone experience this issue? please advice...

Maybe the kompressor overheated, idk. I've heard of that happening quite often.
Try the E55 forum as well. They'll be more knowledgeable about this stuff.

same thing
The bad news is I had the exact same problem. The good news is that you and I are the only people in the world with this issue because
a) the forums are dead on it and
b) my service advisor didn't have the foggiest clue what could be up
My favorite part? This happened because I brought the car in for a standard $350 service. I went for the scam extra $350 transmission maintenance, but I turned down the $2500 of other crap they pitched. I drive it off the lot, and pow this happens. No power, ESP malfunction. I suspect this is the ESP going to "safe mode" in case there happens to be some ice - so it retards power like mad. You'll notice it also wont downshift on throttle - so it's clearly not just the engine. That ESP is horrible anyway - and now its always on. I have a feeling MB is going to say one of the $2500 items they identified "finally failed" and screw me hard.
--The one bad thing about AMG's is that they are also Mercedes.
