E320 CDI 2004 Avangarde estate.
Now at 180.000 full MB service history spent wadges on this car just stuff wearing out i guess. Like new turbo charger, steering rack and pump, gearbox flush and oil change to stop the judering around the 40 mph mark plus suspension bushes etc.
1. 2008 E320 Bluetec
2. Bought Aug 2014 with 78K miles, now 120k miles; 99% highway driving; averaging 32.2 mpg on goodyear all season tires and >35 mpg in winter with michelin x-ice (weird but true), love the fact that can go from MN to MI on a single fillup!
3. Mostly regular maintenance only, will need to change glow plugs and module before temperature drops further

There have been quite a few issues. When it gets really cold where I live, i get convenience features not available. then after driving it for a while the message goes away. I am looking to get new tires that ride and handle great in the summer but also in the winter have no problems at all. I do live in a very cold and snowy area. The car is RWD. Love to hear from the other enthusiasts.

I have Michelin X-1ce 3 on my E320 for winter. They are much better than my all season goodyear tires, and unexpectedly I get better fuel economy too.
My first post and my first Merc. Got a great deal on a pristine E550 w/161,xxx miles. Mechanically checked out! I was spooked by those miles at first but it runs like a swiss clock.
160k miles that is.

Small wear items and regular maintenance is all that has been required since I've had this car; 7.5 years and 140,000 miles. I seriously enjoy this Mercedes more than my new 2015 GL350. The diesel GL is the only way to go for a GL by the way!!!
'04 E55, 143K miles, owned it 10 years and since 27K miles when I purchased it as a CPO at a dealership in So Cal. It's had more electrical and other minor gremlins than I can count, but the engine/transmission have always run strong. After replacing the suspension with factory new air shocks it handles and runs as well as the day I bought it.
Never an issue until today, think we blew the seals out of it getting on the highway. Lost a ton of oil out the bottom end, heard the engine rattle, shut it down as soon as we pulled over. Had it towed and awaiting the news....love the car though...never any issues until this
