2004 e320 wagon. good deal???

http://eurocaroc.com/web/1208/vehicl...s-E320%20Wagon

Looking to update wife to a new wagon so that i can get out of my 190e and into wife's current 99 4matic wagon. Any opinions? We bought our 99 wagon from the same dealer and are very satisfied with the vehicle. I am familiar with the w210's but unfamiliar with the w211 body and it's reliability issues.

Having just bought a W211 E500 Wagon, my advice would be to get a CPO car. These things are complicated, and the earlier models are getting to an age where some of the corners MB cut in the design are coming through. So, get a factory-backed warranty, and you'll be happy, I think. If you buy without, I would 1.) Get an independent MB mechanic to give it a detailed look over, 2.) try every feature twice to make sure stuff works, and 3.) make sure you have a slush fund for repairs.

Good luck.

Thank you, I understand all of the above as i have owned used mercedes vehicles since 95'. I would always get inspection/try it twice including drive it twice/and i do have a slush fund for any used vehicle. The main question remains, as I do not know the going rate for 211 wagons as you don't see many here in so cal. except of course those piloted by milfy moms that have yet to upgrade... The points you made were relevant but obvious for me... Thank you. any one else care to chime in? or are you too busy spilling latte's in your center console?
