05 CDI 121k--too many miles for year?

I've toyed with the idea of selling it, I could make a nice chunk of change (I bought at the right time, middle of winter, diesel was horribly expensive, and I made a really nice deal, and now the demand for them seems to have shot up a bit around here), but in the end I think I'll keep it, I couldn't figure out what I'd replace it with anyway.
There is a user on here "katjek", or somethingerother, that has a high mile CDI, he's come across a few odd things that needed fixing, but it didn't sound like anything that would scare me away.
If you can get it for the right money it may be worth having an indie mech that is knowledgeable about common rail diesels give it a look over first.
Give him a low offer and say it is now or never, if he decides no then walk away because he is only suffering from his own ignorance and there is no point paying more money for a car that has done so many miles.
.
When you make the deal, why don't you condition the purchase on a dealer inspection. They will charge you an hour of courtesy labor and check all of the codes. My symptom was intermittent no boost and the codes were EGR and M55 motor.
