US versions of the Bluetec don't get the LED tail lights. I don't even think it was an option..

Yes, well the brake part of the light is a bunch of LEDs. It was part of the "appearance" package. When I search for tail lights, I find ones that are without the appearance package (standard Non LED) and the type that look like yours. In the US, all bluetecs, despite their option level, have non appearance package lights. I don't think a single other model of E class in the post facelift years has non LEDs except the diesels. We also couldn't get the white cluster dials, which I'm assuming was also part of some sort of appearance package. I have a P2 with pano and trunk closer, and I think the only other option available in my 07 was full leather (I have tex). Nothing like seeing an 03 E320 roll by with parktronic, distronic, solar cooling, etc when your much newer, higher than base model didn't even have it as an option.
I may be wrong about parktronic, perhaps someone can verify? I'm positive distronic and the sport package with AMG body kit and different interior trim were not available though.

08 E320 Bluetec
Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I love your car. Just bought a 08 bluetec and was thinking about getting the e63 front bumper, and a new set of wheels. How does the car ride with the bigger wheels? I've read that bigger wheels make the ride quality of the e320 noticeably harsh.
