A friend of mine has an avantgarde E class white with stone interior and a panaromic roof - It looks great and even nicer than other white E's because of the pano roof. So if you do get white, get the pano roof its a very nice contrast. I dont see why black tint would not go with Tealite blue.. By the way, I will again suggest that you consider a charcoal interior.

I saw a E270 CDI at the local dealer and it was in Tealite Blue with pacific blue leather uphostery and it looked great. We have now ordered the same vehilce in the that colour for delivery in September 2003 , however I still have another two months in which to change my mind.

I meant to say about the colour. In addition, I have been toying with the idea of going for a CLK 270 CDI. It is a really good looking car.

Would appreciate it if you could get pics of that car ! None of us have seen the pacific blue leather on any of the W211's to date. Did it have burlwoord or black birds eye maple?

Not sure if I can get a picture of the car as I saw about two weeks ago and it had plates on it. I think it was the avantgarde with birds eye maple wood trim, however I would imagine that the burr walnut wood trim would be just as nice.
I have ordered an Auto Elegance which has walnut trim as standard, nappa leather, sat/nav, heated seats, Parktronic, split seats, Bi-xenon lights, and a different type of alloy wheel.
The standard alloys are a pain to keep clean because of the 13 hole design. I leant that from my Volvo S80 whihc has a similar configuration. Although the Avantgarde is slightly cheaper, I am a bit wary of the lower sports suspension because the B roads in the UK are worse than those in a developing copuntry or to put it bluntly, genarlly bad.
Maybe someone can tell the ride difference between 16" wheels and 17 or 18" wheels. I am not exactly a person who throws a car aropund corners, however I do enjoy acceleration and speed.

Too bad, I really wanted to see some pics of the blue - I guess mellow or you will post some when you get your cars. I was not bold enough to make the decesion to get the blue when I ordered back in June, especially given the fact that I saw no pictures / samples of it. Regarding your wheels, I'm glad you ordered a different set than the 13 hole design - Not only that sucker is hard to clean but it looks fugly in my opinion. Which other design did you get? Regarding the wheel sizes and sport suspension - as soon as you go from 16" wheels to bigger you automatically have to get either the sport suspensioon or airmatic DC. my car has 18" wheels and the AMG kit with the sport suspension and its not really that low ... I have never rubbed once and our roads are worse than the UK ones - Trust me on that one. 17" 5 spoke as in the avantgarde standard rims would look nice but would require you to get sport/or airmatic suspension. Here is a pic of my car.

I did take many pictures but I am yet to achieve what I would consider good quality! I'll have my cousin who is a professional photographer take them when she has time.

Be sure to post some good pictures when you get your car, Juan.
This is one of the least posted colors on the board.

Ok, Found it.

The link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6335

The pics do not do the color justice IMHO - They are not clear and the blue looks more greyish/charcoloish.. I guess better resolution pics and a better camera would give it more justice.. Anyhow here are the pics.

AND AGAIN FROM MBUSA, PACIFIC BLUE

I think the photo I posted bebore was more similar to Pacific Blue (depending on lightning conditions). I thought Pacific blue wasn´t so clear as it appears on than white Merc. I like it too.
