Hey - the limo tint looks nice. Is that legal out there on the Left Coast? Here is Florida, that is not legal and the police and Highway Patrol have a test device to see if your tint is legal.

Hey thanks! Yeah I can't drive (or enjoy a drive) with anything but Limo, I need the privacy, and I think it looks great, especially on the W211, just ties the car together IMO.

Definitely not Legal out here though. With that and my tails I haven't been messed with, knock on wood. I used to have a fixed up Mustang, with lighter front Tint, and always got messed with. I think considering I drive a clean and well-kept E, and I don't cruise around with a gangster lean and music blaring, etc. Cops just haven't messed with me yet.

Good luck with that! I know what you mean about the tint too. Here in SoFla, the sun is so intense that even good A/C is challenged. A good tint job make a big difference. I suspect profiling enters into enforcement - or at least as a reason for an initial stop.

I would like to see a simple solution to upgrading the factory systems to support Bluetooth. I have found several solutions, but all of them are in the multi-thousand dollar range, which I considered to be abusive.

I have a year old Garmin that fully supports a Bluetooth connection to my Blackberry Storm. Unfortunately, telephony and audio seems to be an area in which Mercedes-Benz has traditionally been on the trailing edge of technology.
