my wife wild, but she loves every minute of it.
A few year ago, a friend owned this black 250 GT California. He entered it in the concours at the Cavallino Classic at the Breakers. We drove that car through traffic, and to the track event at Moroso. Ran it hard, came back and had to clean the dead bugs off the nose before the cars were judged. At the time, it was not worth ten million, but he had paid over one for it. A couple of years later, he traded it for something else, and now it appeared in the auction news.

I think that if a million-plus car can sit in a garage-warehouse without a cover, then my modest little E-Class will be just fine too.

Yeah, cars are pretty durable. After all, they are meant to be driven

Very nice California, btw. I came so very close to picking up a 330 GTC from Symbolic Motors in SD many years ago. Back when it was somewhat affordable. Now they're too much $$. But it could have been much a better investment than XOM stock or something. Esp these days.....

The 330GTC (and 365GTC) were the 'hot rods' of the line in their time. Maybe they're comparable to a C63? The only 'affordable' V-12 remains the 330 2+2 - which I think is a good car - if you can get a good one because an engine overhaul can take your breath away.

My MB's are garaged but uncovered. They do get dusty. My Corvette C2 is garaged but covered with a soft indoor cover. No dust no scratches and only needs to be cleaned/waxed once a year.

The blanket from the sky is the perfect solution for the lazy person. Just yank on the line to lift it off and cleat it off on a hook. When you return, just uncleat the line and let it go.

If it wasn't this easy, my wife wouldn't bother covering her car and the cats would make a mess of it.

Isn't that why we have children? So they can put on the car cover?
