E 320 Bluetec in the snow

I'm considering buying a 2009 E320 Bluetech. I' ve read great things about it. I live in Northern Indiana and we gets lots of snow. I can't seem to find advice on how the car handles in the snow. Anyone have experience with this car in winter driving?

The E320 Bluetec is a marvelous vehicle; I love mine dearly.

I've had limited experience driving my Bluetec in snow though driving in light snow did not pose a threat, even on my all season tires. I don't normally drive the Bluetec in snow but firmly recommend winter tires for light to medium snow; it will never handle like a 4matic.

An E350 4matic or GLK320 Bluetec 4matic may be a better option for driving in your harsh winters.
