Search not working - Quick Question RE: Key Battery

Hi,

Dashboard said low battery on one of my keys. Replaced the batteries, and now keyless go, and remote unlock/lock on the fob don't work. When I stick the key in the ignition and start conventionally, everything is fine. Is there some sort of reset procedure I need to do to get the car to recognize the fob for Keyless Go/Remote functionality?

I tried search, but unlike the normal condition I get on this board which is always 900+ results no matter my search terms, this time I just get a database error.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Gavin

Check to see if LED on the key with replaced batteries flashes when approaching vehicle in response to wake-up request. If not, remove any soil or grease from battery contacts using lint free cloth and alcohol and exchange batteries from second key assuming this key is working fine. Avoid touching batteries on their contact sides.
