Rim scuff

I was driving in the parking lot and i have the amg style III wheels and i scraped a curb. I was wondering if you can wet sand down the scratch or should i bring it to a wheel repair place. I am in the NYC area.

My friend that details cars, i was telling him about this process i read on here that is farely easy. All german cars use the same color for their wheels. He was telling me he gets requests from people that he details there car to fix there wheels all the time. Anyway he is going to do it on my car for free.

I know here in OC you can get your wheels refinished for $200. They look and drive like new.

Painting the wheels is not as easy as it seems. That metallic paint is a bit of a ***** to work with.
