Get a similar message on my car.
Something about the phone not being installed.
Keep getting an annoying message saying there is a malfunction, then the SOS message.
Previous owner ripped out the phone, the craddle and the push to talk finger and that seems to generate the SOS message.

As far as I know, both of your vehicles are equipped with the analog TeleAid module. For you to activate TeleAid, you will have to upgrade the unit from Analog to Digital at a pretty substantial cost and then pay for a 1 or 2 year contract.
If you take your car to a dealer, they can disable that function and alert by hooking your car up to their computer.
Use the Search and you will find previous threads that go into detail with your concern.
