COMAND HELP...
I think my comand headunit is done. Stopped accepting cd's and after a really hot day this summer the screen is messed up. Only shows verical lines. So with the disc player inop, I cannot install the update cd. I would like to find a dvd in motion unit.
Do all of the comand nav headunits have the DVD and DVD in-motion capabilities used in all of the comand headunits with the "video" button instead of the "sat" button on the front face..????
Is there a specific list of part numbers to look for. I found a chart on line with part number noting head-units with a "video" function. does the DVD function apply to the units with the video button?? I would like to replace it with a video-in motion adaptable unit.
I think these nubers are correct from what i have researched

the parts codes show ECE for Eurpoe, NAV, tv tuner, tv screen rear and tv digi tuner.
