DIY:Adjustable Camber Arms Install

1.Camber Arms arrive from speedybenz..!!=)

2.Area on subframe where we remove bolt1(Requires alot of WD40)

3.Area on hub where we remove bolt2(Again alot of WD40)

4.Better image of work area(left rear of car)

5.Camber arms(Notice that the bolt design requires special tool but you can actually use same bolts in new camber arms).The only part that may be tricky is the part of the camber arm that attaches to the hub is tapered as well as the location where the arm sits is tapered inward..If you look at the hub for 5 minutes you will understand the proper location.

6.Installed pics

Very easy install just make sure you have the right tools before.

Thanks for the pictures. What lowering kit/method did you use? Springs, Coilovers etc.?

Used H&R springs but chopped half a coil off in the front to even out the drop.Also I have four camber bolts in the front.. I had the rears rolled even more than they come stock..Im preparing for new aggressive rims..

From what I saw on the website these new rods are only for lowered cars and not those at stock height.

Airmatics must have built in automatic camber compensation; the experts can chime in.

Do you suffer camber issues during normal course of operation i.e. sports/comfort modes etc. or only when you have it especially lowered using sds or other module.

the car is aligned in comfort mode and has quite a bit of camber already. When you drop it to Sports II it lowers even more and you get even more camber. People usually install camber bolts in the front after they lower their cars with star. This requires an alignment as the camber bolts throws toe off quite a bit.

I'm running in the same issue here!

I have an 08 W211 - so I really need 4 camber bolts for the front? how hard it's to install the bolt? and do you set it when you install it or just install it and let the NTB alignment do the adjusting for you?

my front are -2.73 and -1.1 on the rear.

I need to get this bolts in or else I'm gonna need new tires.
