Question for Crazy4Cars
Enrique, I believe you mentioned the new SL accelerator and brake pedals can be installed on the W211.
Would you happen to know the correct part numbers or what VIN (earlier or later version) is applicable.
The Part Department tells me there are 2 versions; so I am at a lost on what to tell them. Any help will be appreciated. TIA!

Ben: I'm home and I don't remember the part #'s, however all you need to tell to your part department is:
Gas and Brake Pedal: R170 SLK
Parking Brake Pedal: R230 SL
As simple as is.

Thank you so much for your reply and photos Enrique. I will inform the parts man first thing Monday morning.
Am I to understand that these parts are "bolt-on" and do not require and modification or drilling? Thanks again for your advice.
The E500 is simply amazing! It is so smooth, quiet and quick. My wife is very happy with the car. Everything is working fine right now. Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.

At the center is a large nut and a stud of sorts to which the bracket is located/mounted. What you see at the center behind the pedal might double as a stopper to limit travel of accelerator.
