coincidence or just bad driving?

I let my girlfriend drive my w208 a while back and it came back with a busted fog light (glass). Tonight she just called me and said the check fog light came on in the w211. I asked her to see if it was cracked and sure enough it was. This is the only time she has driven this car... wtf?

Is the car too low or is it just a coincidence?

"Coincidence" of course I have already replaced on of mine. The lense is $22 and the time to change it is about 20 minutes. But if you claim it on insurance it would count against you as an incident and cost my guess $250 and your deductable.

The photo is my 211 but yours will be designed very similar for lense attachment. Look close and you will see the clips that hold the lense on.

maybe you're right but its really odd. The only problem is I have the AMG package and I don't think I can just buy the glass. The dealer said $289 but Ebay seems to have a few OEM's for about $100.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the fog light lenses?

I have the appearance package bumper which I believe is the same as the standard bumper. Fog lights are the same too I think. I know the AMG ones are different.
