Requesting Part # and pricing info on W211 Blower Control Module....
I have a W211 and I have experienced the sudden shut down of the fan while in windshield defrost mode. I would like to know if this is a recall because it is a safety concern, as it happened this morning on the highway as I selected defrost! The basic warranty is gone and all I'm left with is the major component warranty.

There is a DTB for the Blower Motor Regulator, but I haven't heard of a recall.
Mine was already replaced while under warranty.
Since you are out of warranty, just do it yourself. It's located under the glove box, remove the panel above the footwell.
