Roses...
Bought a CPO 07 E350, love the care except when I turn on the A/C it smells like roses or some kind of flowery scent...replaced the cabin filter but it still smells like grandma perfume....otherwise it's an awesome car. Any ideas on how to get rid of the smell?

Dealer probably sprayed some air freshener junk in there..... Try running the heater for a while. No doubt it'll go away eventually. Hey, at least it's not dog sh*t smell or something......

Interesting observation... Mine smells exactly the same way sometimes, (2007 550) and I made the jump to blaming my Wife's Mother's cheap perfume also. I'm sure both dealers haven't put the same crap in the 2 cars, so its got to be something else.
In my case the smell came on suddenly one afternoon while on a 5 hour drive to DC with my Mother in Law... I was sure she spilled her perfume in the back, but now I'm sure its something else.
Anyone else?

YOU GUYS!!!
You guys are hilarious!!! I'll try running the heater, maybe that will "cook" the smell out...Barry, today was the first time the Warden-In Law rode in the car so I know it's not her...220S, I agree, at least it isn't Dog S*#t smell.
