Just curious, anyone else having issues with their slammed W211's and eating inner edges of tires...? I installed 245-35-19's front and 275-30-19's rear on my dropped E500 and since then, I've replaced 9 tires, the last one went flat this morning... I had the car 4 wheel aligned at my local MB Dealer the same week I had the tires/wheels installed about 2 years ago... The tires wear fine on the outer edge and center tread, but the inners of all four tires are shot to the belts and mesh cord... WTF...! The most recent one blew out this morning on the way to work so I'm in the process of ordering another rear... The camber looks fine, at least compared to the cars I see here in pics...

inside of the tire would not be rubbing inner fender. Probably need an adjustable camber kit. There are some sellers on ebay that have them. If you get the alignment done make sure they are printing a before and after so you can see the settings. This will give you reasoning to your wear problems.

Inner tire wear sounds like neg camber. Best thing to do would be flip your tires half way through their life or get a camber kit and adjust your camber as close back to stock settings as possible.

Well, I asked what his specs are because improper toe will wear out tires MUCH faster than negative camber, so long as the camber is not *that* negative. I've been running -2.5 rear camber + zero toe for years now, with *almost* even tire wear. If you're camber is ~3 or more, then you'll still wear out your inner tires pretty quick, even with zero toe.
