When I bought the car, I also bought a bluetooth SAP cradle for the phone-prep kit, chosen so as to make use of the aerial boost from the car, rather than the HFP which justs relays the mic & speaker through the car.

Whenever I received a text, the car beeped, the audio 20 showed an envelope icon, but nowhere could I work out how to read the message.

Anyway, those nice guys at MB tech have found an answer for me - the phone stores the text on the SIM card. They thought that I was having trouble reading the texts because the SIM was full.

I realised that I didn't know the SIM had separate text message reading!!!!!!

So, if anyone has audio 20 with SAP bluetooth & couldn't read the texts........... look under SIM messages in your phone!!!!

This is good to know also if the car has Comand because this way one can find the message also after leaving the car, not that obvious.
