Non AMG Diffuser???

Does anybody make a diffuser option for a non-AMG bumper? Paintable / Carbon are both ok to me. I understand the implications and that the bumper would likely need to be cut to accommodate. I cant see why it wouldnt work to cut out where the tips come through and the rest be over and attached to the old bumper? Thanks

I haven't seen any diffusers yet made for non-AMG bumpers for sale. Most likely it would have to be a custom job, which would require cutting and molding the diffuser to the rear bumper. It would probably be more cost effective if you just purchased an AMG bumper to begin with. Unless you are able to do the work yourself.

That's what I was afraid of. I wonder if there are any aftermarket suppliers of AMG style bumpers. I fear to ask what mercedes wants for it.

Actually there a couple of manufacturers of AMG style bumpers for the W211 (found on EBAY), but unfortunately from what others have mentioned, the fitment is very poor. If anything, you could look into the more popular aftermarket companies such as Brabus, Carlsson, and Lorinser. They provide aftermarket kits for the w211 but at a price.

An OEM AMG bumper cover is only $980 - $1380 depending on the model. Get the real deal!
