I think all 500's are airmatic. Just use the adjustable links. That's what I've got and I can still use the raise button and the sport 1,2 and comfort modes.

The adjustable links will allow you to raise/lower your car much more, but you have to manually adjust the link's length...can't be done inside the car. If you want an easier way to lower/raise your car significantly, you should look into Renntech ELM. I think the version 3 (and maybe version 2) offers an optional (expensive) remote where you can change ride heights while in your car. I have version 2, but did not get the remote. I can change ride height, but have to do so by accessing the module, which is hidden in the passenger footwell. ELM is pricey though.

The buttons by your gear shifter don't raise or lower your car significantly. The raise button is great for getting up driveways. Whether it gets you back to stock height will depend on how much you've lowered your car to begin with. If you have a mild drop, you can get close to stock height.

not sure how much they go for now a days. When I got mine, the V2 was 1300 installed. the remote retailed for 600. I see used ELM's every once in a while. I think very few people buy the remotes. You can also buy a V1 or V2 and do the mod that Jangy did - then you don't need to buy the remote. He did a detailed write up. He basically extended the knobs to easily change the ride height. I think I remember seeing a used V1 for sale in the classifieds.

i think the links are the best since you don't mess with computer which will eventually reset (star) OR have to mess with internal wiring (elm).
