then i must say its a hell of a deal my man...congrats.

btw..do u how they calculate taxa n fees and whatever else is invovled?

cuz i figure to pay about 55K (my dealer told me he sells E500 at cost and he earns his commision off the rebate the Mercedes gives) with the options i want (moonroof, cd, heated seats). then u add the tax and fees...i just wanna make sure my dealer isnt screwing me

lemme know what u think

Well, I don't know where you live or what kind of taxes (sales taxes may be collected by the dealer) some states have property taxes but we only pay those when we register the car.

It's the FEES that you have to ask about. They may try to tack on destination charges and say that they are not a part of invoice (but they should be). Some dealers add "advertising expense" or "administrative fees" as a part of invoice. If you go to MBUSA.com and "build your own" you should get an MSRP. Then I think you discount it by 6.75% which I think is their markup and you should have their invoice price. If the MSRP from the site includes the $1000 gas guzzler tax then you would have to take that off before applying the 6.75% discount to get to invoice from MSRP.

I know I didn't explain that well but I hope you followed it.
