Yes, it does. IMHO, Mercedes does a beautiful job with lighting (especially the interior).

Kev...they work great and come on when you unlock the door along with interior lights and other exterior lights to give you a pretty good exterior entry package at night. You do have to activate in on the menu to make it work.

yea i love this feature, and like posted above, i just love the looks of the lights at night when you unlock your car. we have the stone interior, it looks really nice whit the lights on. and those bulbs are pretty powerfull, they help a lot when getting into the car

Hmm..

I have never noticed those lights, perhaps because my garage is well-lit. I will look tonight to see if they work.

monakh, FYI-for the mirror housed puddle lamps to operate, you also need to have the interior front overhead light activated so that it comes on when the doors open. It's the middle light switch in the overhead console.

Yep..

Thanks Jim. I paid closer attention before entering my E last night, and it turned out that yes indeedy--that light is very much there. Amazing how much you can miss. Looks pretty cool.
