SO yesterday I got in my 2005 E500 and my temperature gauge has a bunch of dead pixels that turned silver/white. It basically looks like someone took an exacto knife and cut little pieces out of the meter. Anyway to fix this!?! Can this little part be bought separately? Help! It looks horrible! Little things like this drive me crrrrraaaaazy because i spend a TON of time and effort keeping my car free of even one fingerprint.

 

Not a DIY repair, the MB Dealer will sell you a "rebuilt" Cluster. I would contact a VDO speedo repair place and inquire about repairing yours.
