05 E55 AMG Check me out!

I just picked up a 2005 E55 with 37k Miles! This is my second E55, and im very excited about it. I had a couple questions that maybe this forum can help me answer.

The guy I bought it from told me it was reflashed, has Pulleys, and a lowering module done by Carlson. He says he has no documentation of it, but the previous owner told him. I didnt pay extra for the parts, but im wondering if there is a way to tell?

I was also wondering if the newer style 07 grill will fit in my 05?

Couple pics!

07 Grille can be done but requires other parts (Bumber Cover) also. is not just a grille swap.

Yup, In order for you to fit the 07 grille, you'll need to replace the front bumper (bumper reinforcements, lower bumper grilles, fog lights etc..)

BTW nice ride you have

Certainly looks lowered. As for the rest of the mods, throw her on a dyno and see what she does. The numbers should tell you what you need to know. Also, I would think a reputable tuner with the riht software ought to be able to look at your programming and see what you have.

Or you could always figure it out the old fashioned way and find someone with a for sure stock E55 and race them. If you eat them up, then you're ride's probably had some work done.

Nice ride. Enjoy.

Haha good info. I think it looks lowered too. I think I might put it on the dyno just to see what it puts down.

nice.

there should be a lowering module somewhere with a bunch of wires coming out of it. it should have adjustments too to adjust how low you want it.

the pulleys might have a brand name on them such as evosport or something.

it could be on stock or near stock setting. that's the great thing about these modules, fully adjustable to your own preference.

The wheels are staggered 20" GFG 3 piece wheels. They are a flat black w/polished lip. The tires are Nitto Envo S.

I may think of selling them. PM me if you are looking. they are awesome rims.

Here is a link for them
