HVAC noises
I have a 2007 E350 4Matic Sport. I have been experiencing some noises when I cycle between heating and cooling functions.
It makes a kind of plastic snapping/cracking sound when I turn the temperature dial from the colder settings to the hotter settings and vice versa. The sound eminates from the passenger airbag area and also I hear it by the passenger side footwell area sometimes. When it cycles from the cold to hot, or when it cycles from hot to cold, this is when I hear the snapping/cracking sound.
Has anyone else experienced this? It just started happening a few days ago. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
