New Wheels on my E500..18"

Hi everyone!

I put the new wheels on my car. These are 2010 E550 sport wheels with pirelli p zero nero all season tires. 245/40/18 front and 265/35/18 back.

I am very impressed with these tires. I have had oem michelins before and after that have had bridgestone 960's and these are imho much better tires. I was surprised how comfortable of the ride it is with 35psi pressure all around.

What a difference in handeling and characteristics of the car. It is so smooth and feels like a new car.

I had to put on 16mm spacer in the rear and 10mm in the front. I have custom ordered spacers and are wheel and hub centric. I had the car up to 110 on a country road where there were not any cars and there were no vibrations. I was able to put the front ones without and there were no issues but put them on for better handeling and a more agressive look.

Let me know what you think!

Exactly! Thats the look I like. I was just thinking today about getting an amg body kit in the spring and also get it lowered by star diagnosis. Its going to look so nice. Here is some more pics. Some of the other cars in the pic are my friend cars.

Yes sir, if i see any exhaust FS i will point them your way, i have to find one also! i need to find a reputable place to get AMG rear and front bumpers that wont cost me up the A$$. What i love about our cars is that we will never see another E Class with the rims on it, one of a kind!

Congrats on the car!

Good to hear you are loving it...

IMO those rims don't fit the car at all - wheels are too linear as the 211 is much more rounded than the current 212...

But, all that matters is that YOU like it - so in that regard, enjoy!

Thank you! Everybody that has seen the car has loved the wheels.. I think its that mix of linear and round that really makes this combo stand out! To each his own...I would never buy a C-Class either

I got a deal on these wheels and tires. It was a brand new dealer take off so they were willing to get whatever...I only paid $1000 with shipping included. Only tires cost that much!

I like mine better! I just swapped out my traditional split 10 spoke sport rims for these AMG's. I kept my new tires, and sold the Ronals for a good price. My swap ended up costing me minimal. I love the look of the W211, with any rims. I believe this body style will be historical and will look great for years to come.

Anyway, glad to see another guy putting his own custom touches to this classic!

I like yours too! I like the OEM look..clean, fresh and classic. 211 look is a classic..with minor adjustments(some new wheels), possibly a body kit..this car will be in style for many many years to come...benz did a fantastic job with this line!

I am dying to move to CA lol...hopefully next year..just sick and tired of this crappy weather in Chicago! Most of my cars have always been either black or silver. One time I had a red BMW and that didnt last long..its true what they say about red cars and bad luck!
