low battery message
Two days ago I had a low battery message and could not use heated seats etc. for about three miles then all is well. I started the car this morning, it was 10 degrees out and the car had sat for 24 hours, everything normal. Took it to Pep Boys for a new battery and they said they did not think it needed a new battery or it would have been hard to start...told me to come back when the message was on the display.
Drove home all is well, three hours later, start the car and there is the message again, dirve to PepBoys but the message was gone by the time I got there.
What do you think?

Need input! to make a decision.
Given you haven't tested the battery or alternator and not knowing age makes it a bit difficult. Pep boys knows more about MB than anyone else does why not give someone else the chance to do a full battery/load and charging system check. If you have sbc brakes the aux or main battery is getting old. Do a search on this topic and you will find more information.
It might be as simple as replacing the aux battery.

How far do you drive it before shutting it back off? If I let the car sit for a long while I'll get this message, but I have a long *** drive to work so everything has a chance to charge up and I never get the warning unless the car has sat unattended.
you still have a problem. But the question was put, have you check the aux battery.
