Battery dead after less than week
I have a 2008 E350 Sport and if the car is not drove in 5-6 days the battery is dead. Seems quite a bit early for a battery to not hold a charge at least a couple weeks. I have a 2006 Pontiac GTO and it has sat idle for a couple months and started right up. I shouldn't have to disconnect the battery if I fly out of town for a week. Any ideas?

Battery
Thanks for the information, it should be helpful. It has happened a few times and I just charge the battery and it is fine as long as you drive it within 4-5 days. Last time I took it in for service, they said battery was fine. But they didn't check the fore mentioned. Thanks again.

sounds like either you have something draining your battery over night etc like a alarm or amp that is not switching off etc. Also could be your alternator.
