Going NUTS with "Low Battery conv Features Temporarily Unavailable"
I swear I wont do ANY DIYs on my car again -- So far, I've put in both New Batteries, Remanufactured Alternator, Pulled All Fuses in the trunk Fuse Box turn by turn with Clamp Ammeter on the battery to detect any leakage --- no luck..
The car showed low batt sign today with battery voltage reading 12.7v ... Oh Lord why did I not get extended warranty... Anyone knows any good indie shop in Chicago area with expertise in electrical faults ?

I was pulling fuses one by one to see current leakage drop, Fuse # 9 in the trunk happened to cause 100mA of current just by itself (car shutoff) - interior lights and wiper's 'water' sensor's probably this fuse.. Any one knows how to troubleshoot from here ...
Also, Park lamps drew: 4.26 Amps each side - Is this normal ?

Aux battery will not give you a conv feature light......
Any item on the CAN network staying awake can cause a current draw. COMAND, AGW, door control modules, SAM's, TCU, etc......
May something you want a dealer to look at?

Dealer called today when I pushed him to leave the park lights on for 5 mins then turn the car up & "low volt conv featurees unavail" would pop up --- so it did, he said the car's drawing INTERMITTENTLY 3 Amps form the front SAM ---- would be a 1000 bucks to replace it -- might trade it in for a lex tomorrow

Well not really - the SA says this is the first step towards diagnosis - If after SAM replacement the current still leaks then they'd isolate to which entity -- i kept asking him why dont u isolate now before replacing SAM ?? He gave some weird explaination..
