gotta be and1 thing is... i like to make a statement idc wat car i would own... i need to be different :p and u got the e63 now! SH! haha it would need a LOT of work but that exhaust on our cars... flowing out of our v8's WOW... it will need a LOT of custom work under the car, but nothing an exhaust shop can't do i just want everyones input since no1's ever heard it... perhaps another v8 has it on just not a mercedes that we can relate the project too? p.s. my trunk setups almost done this week it took a very long time and a lot of long all niters, BUT... o trust me it will be one of one for the w211 community

Are you talking about using all straight pipes with the G37 mufflers and cats? There're plenty of aftermarket cat-back for G37 that sound better than the stock ones if you really want to do that. I had Motrodyne Dual Shockwave on my 350z and it sounded sick.

The G35/G37 stock mufflers runs transverse (side to side) on the w211 they have two seperate muffler running front to back. You would have to modify an aftermarket exhaust set up for the G35/G37 that run front to back like the one Injen Technology makes.

The newer sedans...yes but the older ones had one muffler on the drivers side.
...and anybody is going to try this mod, you might as well have a muffler shop just make a custom exhaust for you because its going to take a whole lot of modification to make the G35/G37 exhaust work.

Screw the G35 exhaust mate, check this one out - I can guarantee you it'd be a headturner if you make it sound like this - maybe get a similar one custom made smaller in size (for v6 engines - this one's v12's)

I know this is almost impossible to get outta our cars.. doesn't hurt throwin it out though
