switches at the gearshift

Am wondering if anyone can tell me what the switches around the gearshift lever are for. I don't see all of them in the car I tested, so I want to know what features are missing, or what are included.

thanks

The only switches/buttons around the shifter are the S/W button for (summer and winter) tranny modes. And to the rear of the shifter.... those are the Airmatic DC controls (optional on the E320.. std in the 500).

Sorry, forgot to mention I'm in Singapore. We get the E200 Kompressor, E240 and E320. I have seen E500 being mentioned, but with taxes we pay for cars, not many people go for it.

We get the W/S switch, but not the Airmatic (that's an option). I've seen some photos that have switches either side of the gearshift, anyone has these switches ? Just want to know what I'm missing, that's all.

Oh, on the left side of the shifter.. there MIGHT be a "dial" that is used to adjust the Distronic cruise control settings/distance. Otherwise I think it's all on the back side of the shift console.

The buttons on the left are for Distronic and the buttons that very few have on the right, are for the Remote Heater Timer. There is a remote radio controlled preheater with a timer that has its setup buttons located there.

Of course, at the bottom is the Airmatic and other items.
