Problems on new E-Class?

So far I have heard of:

-E500 engine mounts

-drifting towards the right

Anything else I should know about?

There has also been a problem with the audio system cutting in and out at certain balance/fade adjustments.

Also the radio sometimes turns itself off but works fine after you turn it on again.

I haven't had those two problems but I have:
engine mount ticking, wind noise at highway speeds (really noticeable), noisy wipers.

SF49ers- the drifting toward the right is an alignment problem. What kind of problem do you have with the bi-xenons? Range or something else? My driver's side xenon headlight seems woefully short in range.

Hi Frank,

I have the CD changer and it stopped working (connection to audio error message) during the first two weeks. I've seen other posters mention this same problem also.

Maybe the Germans just haven't gotten the hang of in-dash CD players yet...

this isn't actually a problem, but why is my e320 missing the memory functions on the passenger seat? I have to manually move the seat backwards and forwards. Isn't this supposed to be standard?

I live in Switzerland. Can anyone give me an answer?

Cheers

In europe, it is an option... So it must have been ordered at build time for both seats. You can even get (full) electric driver seat and leave the passenger as half auto electric where forward and backward movements are manual..
