Hi everyone,
I just purchased my first E55 last week, so first... hello to everyone.
I have been spending alot of time going through the posts on the forum noting things I am looking to update. One simple item that I would like to do is upgrade the command unit software for the NAV. I have found a thread from 6/2008 that gives a part number,
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...c-today-2.html
but MB has been unable to tell me if that is the latest part, as they call it a "tool".
Does anyone know if there is a later part number for the 2004 command CD than the A211 589 14 22 00 from 2008? Also is there a good MB dealer that ships their parts out of state?
Thank you!!
Kevin

Actually, the current service disc is 211589162200 and includes MY08-09 to allow for XM programming not applicable to your vehicle therefore, either “14” or “16” will suffice. Check PM.Originally Posted by gatorE55
