E320 Rear Right Thump/Bump noise
The rear right side is making a Thump/Bump noise when going over sharp bumps. I am thinking something at the coil spring. I would like some ideas to fix it.

I don't see leaks at the shock. The bounce test shows a few bounces but each up and down is getting less swing.
OEM shocks don't seem to last long. The car has only 65xxx KM. What do you guys think of Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks? It is a a direct oem fit as far as I understand. I might buy the front as well. What tools you need to remove the spring coil in the front struts? The plate type compressor doesn't seem to work as the strut is in the middle of the spring.

This is a real long shot. . . but if you recently had your rear brakes worked on, there is a chance that the thump is a loose rear caliper. This has happened to me in another car. It was amazing how much noise that caliper was making, it was not that loose but it sure let me know it. It could also be part of the parking brake that is inside the rotor (a little drum brake). I would also suspect it might the suspension, check if one side bounces more or less than the other.
