New DVD COMAND features listed
These are the features of the new W211 E Class in a document put out by Mercedes Benz Australia.

DVD COMAND System "Becker" (code 527) features include:

Faster Navigation Processing

DVD player for audio and video DVD's even if no TV tuner is fitted

Split Screen Navigation- Map and Arrows

Enhanced screen clarity

Large format colour screen, 16:9 format

Much larger storage capacity enabling mapping software for all of Europe to be on one disc. For Australia, sufficient storage for future software enhancements such as restaurants,tourist sights,audio commentary,etc.

What i would really like to know is if any of those soft menus can be controlled by the steering wheel.
Any info chaps?

Can you ask the dealer if bluetooth support is in the new Navi? This is a big item for me, because if it is there, I won't order the $2K phone.
