Help: 2007 E63 starts off 2nd gear in S mode
Read on the forum that a simple SW update will make my early production model E63 to start off 1st gear in S mode as it should. Problem is my car is now in Taiwan and the dealers here and MB-Taiwan does not want to do it until they can confirm it will be a fix.
Can someone provide me with a TSB or some sort of internal reference number for the procedure? thank you very much

After 3 emails to MBUSA regarding my S mode not starting in 1st gear problem here is the reply that I got from them:
We researched your inquiry. It always will start from 2nd gear in C
mode. In S mode it will most of the time but that depends upon driving
conditions. Yes, the vehicle is operating as designed. Additionally, we have been advised there is no bulletin on his question .
I simply wanted a procedure number for my local dealer in Taiwan to perform the job and not debating what its suppose to do. Can anyone help!
