Just curious about this comment. Is this because of W212 is much more complicated to maintain/repair by yourself? Why? Also, just curious, does ALL W212 (2010 and beyond) come with Pre-Safe feature as standard? Thanks!

I'm facing the same decision recently too... really love the W211 four oval-shaped headlights (really iconic), but then W212 has the Pre-Safe and other safety features that I really like.. so it's a difficult choice...

This seems to make sense, I checked with automd.com, and found that for 2010 E class there are 78 TSBs (no recall), but for 2008 E class there is only 47 TSBs. This seems to indicate (to some degree) how "problematic" a specific year/model is....
