Question Car CHOICES!

Okay, I am still deciding in between cars. I have narrowed it down to an E500 or a 2003 Range Rover. Which one would you go with? Thanks.

E500 all the way, in europe we heard about many electronical problems on the range rover V8. And, even if it's not interesting for US members, the range is too thirsty....what a waste of oil

i dont know how you ended upwith those two cars, but if you want a very nice looking spot-luxury vehicle thats fast, go with the E500. resale value will be much higher most likely. its also much safer tan an SUV

Agreed, the E500 is the way to go. See if you can get the cars for the weekend. spend one weekend in the E500 and the next weekend in the Rover. I'm sure you will like the E500 a lot better.

E500 vs. Range Rover

Strangely enough, I also narrowed my choices down to these two cars after eliminating the new 5-Series BMW. I'm self-employed and eligible for the $25,000+ SUV tax deduction, which is really the only reason why I'd consider the Range Rover over the E500. Yet that isn't enough to convince me --- the E500 Sport is my choice and I can't wait to get it!

well to choos between E 500 n range rover its not that hard.. first range rover doesnt have a gorgeous looks compare to E500. The body of course E 500 looks much better and i also believe that the interior of e 500 is better than range rover. So just go w/ E500 you wont regret it.

Yea, I'm sure the E500 drives better, but isnt the interior of the Range Rover better? I dont really remember I am going to take them both on a test drive again, its been a while....

I like the looks of the Range Rover, but the E500 looks VERY nice.
Isnt the Range Rover more luxurious than the E500?

The Range Rover interior is really nice, but not $25,000 nicer than an E320. I felt some of the materials were really cheap, and others (like the fine-furniture quality wood) were beautiful. I'd still say it's the best SUV out there, but it's still $15K more than a nicely-equipped E500.

Unhappy

Well the price isnt different, I priced the E500 to $73,355.00 and the Range Rover to the same 73,000. I like some of the features that the E class has like 'keyless-go' I also like the fact that the RR comes with a Navigation system. (Although I heard it isnt any good.) Oh well, ill see this weekend.

It definitely isn't, I just looked at one the other day......don't let the fancy "Bentley look" piped leather seats fool you. The interior is very nice, but upon close examination its not all that amazing.

For what a RR costs, you can get one hell of an E500 (loaded to the hilt).
