Keyless GO uses the same key fob that comes with the "regular" car, I think. On some previous models it had a separate credit card sized thing. I thought it was kind of a gimmick but now that I have used for over 3 months, it's kind of handy. Just leave the key in your jacket/coat, grab the handle, press the button, and you're on your way. Key fob works in the convential way as well so if you want to pop the trunk from a distance, lower the windows, etc. you can still do that. Good luck!

Popping trunk from distance

Does this require having the automatic trunk opening/closing option on the vehicle?

not sure what you mean, but if your car is locked, and you have keylessgo, you can walk up yo our trunk, pull the handle, and it will open. you can also lock all your doors by pressing the button right by the handle

Keyless Go is an indispensable option. Get it. According to my salesperson, no one wants to pay for it, but many look for it when purchasing pre-owned.

I think keyless go is a worth options when you bought your fancy E320. Is really cool and is not an option on every other car. The only annoying thing is when you open the door the car is always beeping. but other than that is a great option and i suggested you to add it.

Our regular smart key allows you to pop open the trunk from a distance. All the automatic trunk closer feature does is allow you to push a button on the trunk and have the trunk close itself.

It's definitely worth it. Actually some automakers, like Infiniti, make this option standard on new models.
