Are warped rims consider manufacture defect?
I bought a set of Miro rims about 7 months ago, when i went to get my tire changed last month, on the balancing machine, I can see that the rims are extremely warped. All these time, I've been doing all kind of alignments and having my suspension check because of excessive vibration. My lips aren't bent and the rims have absolutely no curb rash. I have not ran over any pot holes what so ever. Was wondering if this would be covered under warranty? Does anyone know?
If the rims were out of round when new, your installer would have noted it.
Otherwise, you have indeed hit a pothole or whatever, as they just won't go out of round sitting or in smooth road driving.
