NAVIGATION DVD NOT WORKING

Hi,

I just bought this car from a dealer, the NAVIGATION DVD disc was not included/they forgot to give it to us so they sent us a used one through the mail. I put the navigation disc in the NAVIGATION DVD DRIVE in the trunk and i still get the same message on the comand "please insert navigation dvd in trunk" while the DVD is in there. Ive tried everything.

Is there something im supposed to do to activate this or..?
Any advice/input will be appreciated.

1) Moved to correct forum.
2) Pull out your DVD and compare it the DVD info found on here.

Have dealer supply new current navigation disc version 9, part #Q6460257.

.... because if they sent you a used one, it could be an older version of the one that was last there. When you insert a new nav DVD, most times a firmware update is done. Older nav discs will no longer work with the updated firmware, so you cannot go back to an older version.
