I purchased the one gen older model (Silver/Black puck)for my wife's car, but ended up trying it in mine first. Snapped it into my car and away we go...
This is the puck:

Results are that it pairs with my HTC EVO perfectly. It downloaded my address book with no issues. Steering wheel functions and COMAND functions work great. Did a few tests calls this morning by calling my wife for sound quality and they were 5/5 each way. I've only played with it for about 30 minutes so these are preliminary results.
Not sure what other tests I can do, but if you have any requests, I can try and fulfill it.
Thanks everyone for your help in this forum.

Sorry for my ignorance but what is puck and what do you use it for? I tried pairing a blackberry tour to a S550 and it paired fine. I was able to transfer the contacts from the blackberry tour to S550. But when I tried using the phone to make calls, it says "No Telephone Inserted" Maybe this 'puck is what I'm missing.
Many thanks.

New blackberry requires puck with software 0908 or newer to work properly.

I have this unit. Do you know if it will receive/upload my address book from the cell? Also, does it work with Text Messaging? I can't figure this out and the the book has no instructions. Can the firmware be upgraded?

Posting the year of the vehicle you are addressing would be helpful.Originally Posted by josor611
